SeaWorld Announces a New Water Ride

Now it’s SeaWorld turn. Taking a cue from each of its main competitors, the company just this morning announced Infinity Falls, a brand-new rapids raft ride that features some pretty interesting – and impressive – features. At the heart of the experience is an “unique vertical lift” that, well, vertically lifts the multi-passenger raft before then letting it plummet down a 40-foot drop – the tallest in the world for a rapids ride.

There will be more both before and after the experience, of course. Guests will first make their way through a lost jungle river that contains ancient ruins as well as many aquatic surprises, such as waterfalls and fountains, before then progressing to a more intense section that consists of a series of chutes and “world-class rapids” – and that big drop, as well. Afterwards, the raft will serenely drift past Harmony Village to “end on a message of inspiration” and, in an effort to live up to SeaWorld’s new corporate mandate of public education, to “illustrate the connection to the world’s rivers.”
